I just installed a new Webcam onto my Windows 10 system and I can't seem to get "me" to show up on my monitor when it's selected.
I'm not a streamer, I just want the option to select the Webcam when I make some videos.

I've tried a number of things but I can't get my image to show up on my desktop display.
Here's a link to 2 pictures I took while in OBS to show that OBS properties "sees me": https://imgur.com/a/v2pX0ic

Here's a current log: https://obsproject.com/logs/XsmDy8Nr6zq4f40h

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks,

Well.....I don't know what I did except the exact same thing I did at least 3 other times, but this time it worked!!!!
So what I did 3 times before was to delete the Webcam in my Sources, click on the "+" sign and select Video Capture Device and there It was...or there I was was, I should say. I have no idea why it decided to work this time but I hope it continues to work this way now!!!

The mods can close this thread if they can.

feel free to add any comment.....

My SURE fix is to go to windows settings:Privacy & Security:Camera and turn OFF/ON the option for "Let desktop apps access your camera". You can even accomplish with OBS running and it should reappear nearly instantly. Best!
