Question / Help Webcam not showing up right away

I've been using OBS for awhile and whenever I switch to a different scene it takes a couple seconds to show up so if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know

Configure it as a Global Source instead of a standard scene source. If you aren't, then the cam has to turn off, then turn on again and reinitialize each time you switch to a new scene with it in, causing the delay.
