I just wanted to let you all know that I went to Best Buy and they told me that the real issue was that the webcam itself must be defective. So I bought a new Logitech C310 webcam from them and it works beautifully and the quality is a lot better than the previous webcam. So I wanted to thank all of you who took the time to help me with this problem.
