Question / Help Webcam high cpu usage

I'm trying to make a local recording of my game software with a webcam embedded in the lower left corner. I can't figure out how to do this. Is there a guide or post somewhere or could somebody give me a quick explanation? I like to save a local recording for myself and then upload it to YouTube later on.

Thanks. I've actually discovered my issue is that OBS stops responding whenever I use my webcam. If I record without the webcam everything is fine however once I include the webcam everything stops responding and I have to force quit. I included my log on this thread in the Support forum.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that anything shows up in the crashdump folder.
