This is a weird one. Whenever I have a webcam running with the game capture, the game becomes choppy, and my face on the webcam starts digitally lag glitching (Almost like a Max Headroom effect, if you are old enough to remember that). If I shut down the stream and delete the webcam source, the game runs fine.
I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro last night to see if this will help (meaning all drivers installed for every device is the latest), but I am still getting this issue. The webcam is a HP KQ246AA 8.0 MP Deluxe Webcam. Tested it on other sources and works like new. I'm running the absolute latest build for 64-bit.
Does anyone know if this is a bug, or possibly a setting issue?
System:
Windows 7 Pro
ASUS M4A87TD EVO
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series DDR3 16 Gigs Memory
Antec HCP-850 Power Supply.
