Hello. Unfortunately i've been running into an issue lately that i'm unsure how to fix. Not only when i'm streaming but also when im not and obs is just sitting there, I get this mad stutter. It makes sense that it would do it while im doing stuff like streaming or gaming. But I mean. OBS is the only thing open. I have it on my "Game" scene that has my webcam small in the corner. There is no game on, so it's just a black screen and tiny me in the corner. You'd think that uses 0 CPU or GPU (not literally) it's just a black screen and a tiny webcam. Yet when I test it by moving back and forth slowly and watching obs. I get this UGE stutter. Like a full second gone. You'll have my log from my last stream which it also did it in. But I don't think OBS makes logs for when you're not streaming and this happens when i'm not streaming or doing anything.

~9% lost frames to rendering lag, so that checks out with seeing it with OBS "just sitting there". You should be able to view your stats window and look at the frame render time, which will be a real-time indication of how much leeway you have there.

13:58:50.980: [Media Source 'Media Source']: settings:
13:58:50.980: input: C:/Users/Tsunami/Desktop/wave movie/start wave_Large.mp4
13:58:50.980: input_format: (null)
13:58:50.980: speed: 100
13:58:50.980: is_looping: no
13:58:50.980: is_hw_decoding: yes
13:58:50.980: is_clear_on_media_end: yes
13:58:50.980: restart_on_activate: yes
13:58:50.980: close_when_inactive: no
This media source is being accessed and rendered for every other scene with this setting. Try enabling this option and see if it drops your render time.

Rad I think that worked. here is two logs of short test streams I ran to kinda confirm. one of them was NVENC and one was x264 labeled appropriately.
