Question / Help Webcam de-syncs after a while

Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask for some assistance to my problem because I am not sure how I can fix it.

Situation : I am streaming with an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable and it has a 1500 ms delay to the streaming PC so I have a setup of 1500ms delay for the mic in Audio settings and for my Logitec c920 webcam too. The Live Gamer Portable Gameplay Video and Audio is synced well and the Microphone Audio is also well synced to it. When I start up my stream my Webcam works absolutely fine.

Problem : After a few hours, usually 2-3 hours of streaming, the Webcam as a Video Source's sync is completely messed up. The delay I set up gets removed automatically and I have to untick - tick it on sources ( reactivate it ) to fix the problem.

Question : What can cause this problem? It is only for the webcam, and I really want to fix it somehow if I can.

If the set buffering value on the webcam resets back to 'live', then it's probably a bug in OBS, but we haven't tracked down the cause yet. I'm hoping that we can just implement better delay in the multiplatform version at some point so people with devices can start switching to it.

i am having the exact same problem the only difference is my stream in the past would do that but now is starting to do it within about 20 min of my stream starting. Please help.
