Question / Help Webcam buffering not working

I'm having this very strange issue where if i set a 3000ms offset, it delays for the first few seconds, and then gradually goes back to 0ms offset.

I don't know if anyone else has had this issue before, and maybe it's something that changed on my pc, but i can't for the life of me figure out what caused this. I've also tried using older versions of OBS to no avail, my webcam simply won't stay "out-of-sync" so to speak, and keeps reverting back into sync

Update: I've tried switching out USB ports, removing my 2nd camera (which the delay still works on btw), uninstalling/reinstalling the cam to no avail.

i have this problem as well. did you ever get it resolved? i posted to the forums, but with this post being over a year old i don't have any hope someone will address it :(
