Hello everyone, I need to set my webcam (Lifecam VX-5000) to a buffer of 1350ms to sync up with something else. Works fine out of the gate, but after a few minutes the buffer is more like 3000ms, and it gets gradually worse. The problem persists even if I have the webcam alone in the scene. I thought it might be a USB bandwidth issue, but reducing the resolution from 640x480 to 320x240 hasn't helped at all.
I'm pretty desperate right now and might just buy a new webcam, but before do that, I want to make sure it's the webcam that's the issue. Any potential solutions or other people with this problem?
