Question / Help Webcam Audio + Live Commentary

HI all,

I am trying to stream an event using a webcam fixed overhead (birds eye view) which will pick up audio.

At the same time I want to be able to have live commentary input as an overlay on top of the audio from webcam.

Is this possible?

Yes. Just make sure the webcam has the correct audio device set in the device source properties.

is it also possible to hear audio from webcam as well as streaming it at the same time?

EG. Headset plugged into laptop, from there listen to webcam and make live commentary

Yes, select "Output audio to desktop" in the device settings.

Would the stream be picking up audio from my PC? eg facebook notification sound etc etc

If you set your Desktop audio device to your default output device, yes. If you want nothing to be transmitted from your desktop, just mute the desktop audio device.
