Webcam and video are fine but audio seems to lag 10 seconds behnid

so i am streaming video gamnes from an xbox series x and using obs studio on my pc. im using an elgato as well. im multistreaming using restream.io . when im playing fortnite or call of duty it seems when i fire my gun i dont hear the sound from the gun shots until about 10 seconds later. the camera sound is perfectly synced up to my video so no problems there. would this be an audio sync problem with the elgato connection in obs? i cant figure it out. could it be the advanced properties in obs when i click on the xbox/elgato connection, and then the sync offset settings? if so would i have to go plus or minus and how man ms on the sync offset? if that is even the issue? im really trying to figure this out. i cant really test it when not streaming either because everything is fine and perfectly synced when i just record locally on my pc in obs. if you need any more info please ask. thanks in advance!

also there is an astro a40 headset connected to a mixamp pro tr which the usb is plugged into my xbox. i use a hdmi to optical to connect teh optical cable to the mixamp pro tr from the xbox since the xbox series x has no optical port. does anyone have any ideas why the camera and video is synced just fine but the game video and game sound is off by about 10 seconds. again the gun shots are delayed about 10 seconds. if i try the method of changing the "sync offset" would i have to go +ms or -ms? thanks again!
