Bug Report Web cam scenes and obs crashes - discovered a culprit

A few days ago I seen a number of post saying that obs was crashing when some people were trying to go to scenes that contained a webcam. I too was plagued by this problem and I finally found the solution. Constant Guardian is the devil. It seems that when OBS reaches out to find the web cam it triggers Constant Guardian and blocks the program, you have to go into your Constant Guardian setup and allow OBS.exe. In addition you will have to setup the allow with BOTH the 64bit and 32bit exe for both to work. I hope this helps some that have suffered from this issue.

YES. This was actually the culprit from my issue last month! Just figured this out, and was gonna post on the forums, but someone beat me to it.

If you use Constant Guard, supplied by isp Comcast, make sure that under "Manage Blocked Applications" or whatever it is, that OBS is allowed. This will prevent OBS from crashing with any scenes that may or may not have a webcam, when initially starting to stream.
