Question / Help weapon switch lags in CS:GO - give me Settings please :(

Hey Guy's & Ladies,

I want to stream CS:GO mainly, but i can't cause i got little weaponswitch laggs (no fps drops), but mmoga's like Neverwinter can i stream without problems.. sometime's OBS jump frame's too..

Motherboard: Asus P7P55D
CPU: QuadCore Intel Core i5-760, 4000 MHz (20 x 200)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB/1600
VGA: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB

Operation System: Microsoft Windows 8.1
Windows Resolution: 1920x1200 (16:10)
CSGO Resolution: 1920x1080 (Fullscreen)

Ingame FPS without streaming: 300-600
Ingame FPS with streaming: 120-300

Speedtest results:

make sure to post an log

also csgo is an cpu based game and your cpu isnt the best anymore 1st gen intel "i3/5/7" have some problems with streaming with some games

but i would say you should be able to stream 540p30fps without a problem

a 2k bitrate should be enough for those settings

you might try if the cpu is still getting taxed a lot and you have ingame issues try to change the preset to superfast.


also make sure that your scenes are completly empty and you only use one game capture source if you are testing the performance

What's your ping in game while streaming and when not streaming? Sometimes this sort of lag can have to do with ping, and "minimize network impact" can help with that in those particular cases. Not sure if this is that case though.
