Bug Report Wayland Works, and doesn't work.

I'm currently using kubuntu 17.04 and a Ryzen 5 w/ a gtx 750ti. I'm mentioning this because of the lack of an integrated GPU on the processor. Lots of people are complaining about wayland breaking obs completely and not being able to do a thing. However with this current setup I can stream my screen and I assume with a webcam, however recording results in a blank screen.

Out of curiosity has anyone else gotten streaming to work on a processor lacking an integrated GPU?

Recording and streaming are more or less the same for OBS. If streaming works there is no reason recording shouldn't work. You should upload a complete logfile that actually contains a recording session. Use the upload file function of the forum, don't paste it into the text of the forum post.

I did a full recording session and the logfile was not generated, so I just asked it to show me current logs. I know it's really hard to believe that streaming works but that recording fails. I will upload a log file after doing a recording again.
