Question / Help Way to save locally at 1080p, but stream at 720p?

My computer can handle recording at 1080p, my issue is my internet's bandwidth can't handle streaming at that resolution, so I downscale to 720p. Is there a way to keep my local files at full 1080 while streaming at 720?

Not yet. This will eventually possible in the OBS rewrite, but that does not have an ETA at this time.

I was doing this this past weekend, had been wanting a way to be able to stream but record locally at a much higher quality. This was exactly what I wanted, at least until OBS supports it natively.
