Question / Help Way to record only application window w/o black monitor background?

I did a few searches but couldn't find anything pertinent. Is it possible with this software to only record the window of an application that is not a full-screen window without a black background for the rest.

Example: my desktop is set to 1920x1080. My Window is at 1294x905 currently. Is there some way to only record that window and end up with a 1294x905 video?

Only thing I've done before now is capture full-screen window games such as EQ2 and Landmark which worked fine.

Add a window capture source and use the "Set base resolution" button at the bottom. Be sure Aero is enabled if you're using Vista/7.

Ahh.. thanks. Looks like it chops off a bit at the top and bottom of the window when not in Aero. I typically use a Windows Basic theme.

The Windows "basic" theme performs extremely poorly and won't give you the results you want, so you still need to enable Aero. Window capture will be cut off if you've enabled DPI scaling, either turn it off via the OBS shortcut (Properties > Compatibility tab > Disable display scaling on high DPI settings) or all of Windows via the Control Panel.
