Hi there,
I'm new to streaming/recording in general so apologies if I missed something obvious. I have done a bit of research trying to figure out why this is happening, but cannot seem to make any real changes to resolve the issue.
I am using a new iPad air (4th gen) and want to record an iOS game to post YT videos. I have a capture card between the iPad and my Macbook. When using OBS, everything looks great except the colors. The I was able to test out the resolution/fps to get it looking good and having no lag. However, no matter what changes I make to the Color Format, Color Space, or even manually creating filters nothing seems to be addressing the issue. The green color being recorded versus what the iPad displays is a brighter more yellow color than the original game. The whites are also too bright, so it seems overall the brightness is throwing things off. I'm open to suggestions to help out as I don't want to post bad quality videos if I can help it. A side note, when I screenshot the bad quality video and post it on discord it still looks bad. However, when I open the local screenshot on my laptop it actually shows up with the correct colors and looks fine...
Macbook specs - 13in pro, 2019, 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
I understand it's probably not the strongest suited computer for recording, but there has to be a way to resolve the washed out colors as everything else seems to be working great. Below you can see my current video settings, though I've changed them multiple times to test and nothing has worked yet.
Thanks!
