Hi,
I'm completely new to using OBS and only have a rudimentary understanding of PCs.
Ultimately all I want to do is stream me playing warzone for fun, but cannot get my OBS stream to be smooth.
Here's a file log which as I understand it should include all my PC specs etc: https://obsproject.com/logs/Gs5p04C7WNGCUnFW
I've got a 4K monitor but have chosen to play the game in 1080p and output in 720p to the stream.
The in game FPS counter sits at a steady 80FPS which is playable: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vcdrQrhf2j-i6xtHTtlSfHCtC0ZFtUCm/view?usp=sharing
However the 'game capture' source within OBS shows an 'in-game' counter of 25fps: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KTqPd0viysHgt-uBrRhje8gr9vOWUctO/view?usp=sharing
Surely the OBS stream should show the same FPS counter as it is just a capture of the game itself?! Even if the OBS was stuttering still why would they not be the same FPS number?
Here's a video of the smooth in game experience (80fps on counter): https://drive.google.com/file/d/15qZ_doGw0LIXn1Qb_AcF8KDhzd5hfz5g/view?usp=sharing
And here's the stuttering OBS stream (25fps on counter): https://drive.google.com/file/d/13TvxHqHoUb-S7TmLw-xDmTK63zNsSo1J/view?usp=sharing
I've turned all my setting in Warzone as low as possible without it turning to mush and for OBS settings have followed this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R-eEZMCmlU
I also always start OBS as administrator
It may be a case of my PC just isn't powerful enough, but if any of you can be of help as to where I can tweak settings I would greatly appreciate it.
