Question / Help "WARNING: Taking too long to encode, skipping frames!"

I keep getting this and I've changed the settings to what every video has told me whats going on?

You changed your x264 preset despite the warnings, so now you are having problems. Put it back to veryfast, if it still continues, lower your resolution.

I am also experiencing this warning. Any advice on settings for me? Stream mostly (99%) Games.

No need for vulgarity, alpin.
But yeah, 1080p@60fps isn't going to work well, for quite a number of reasons.

-Massive encoding requirements (Few CPUs today will be able to cope with encoding this res and framerate in real-time at any quality worth watching)
-Massive upstream requirements (which exceed Twitch's capabilities to ingest)
-Massive downstream requirements (many viewers won't want to devote ~10mbps just to watching a livestream)
-Flashplayer sucks (it can't deal with the compute requirements to decode the mass of data needed, on most common current systems)

1080@30, or 720@60 are the viable options.
So yeah, step it down a notch, manage the expectations as far as what is currently technically feasible.
