Question / Help WARNING: Taking too long to encode. Skipping Frame!

I have more and more "WARNING: Taking too long to encode. Skipping Frame!(big CPU)". And it shows more of the stream recordings that I do. I would like to understand what is not or no longer in my configuration.

no you dont have a good cpu its actually quite bad

its a hyperthreaded dual core which gives you 4 threads... barely enough to just stream fine but gaming and streaming is quite taxing

and since you are also not having a dedicated gpu its even more load since its all on the cpu by using the intel hd graphics

even though you are already using the superfast preset while using downscaling its still not enough for your cpu to handle.


consider using ultrafast nor downscale even more or even stop streaming+gaming on that machine

what setting can i put this on so that i can stream. when i use evolve it works perfectly fine i just like the features of obs....
