Is there any particular reason why you thought it would be a good idea to go with a 8800 kbit buffer? First step, disable custom buffer size. Second step: Resolution Downscale (1.50 -> 720p). The thing is, with that upload you are somewhat limited to the level of quality you can attain in 1080p. Just go with 720p and the Lanczos filter and no custom buffer and it will probably already look a great deal better.

f-ing WoW... I hate optimizing it. ;)

Any actual WoW streamers in here who have a fair bit of experience at getting it to look right?

In Bioshoc Infinite FarCry3 Crisis 3 and Counter Strike 1.6 i have this same problem. Pixeled when i move...

I have little experience with streaming WoW at such bitrates, but I know a few things that might help.

  • Your aspect ratio is wrong. The minimap should be a circle, and the action buttons should be squares. Is your display mode set to 'Windowed (Fullscreen)'? If it's not, set it to that, enable vertical sync, and restart the game.
  • Stormwind City is very difficult to compress. The ground is busy and there are many units in the area. You should test with actual content, as video quality varies significantly based on scene complexity.
  • Set the x264 CPU preset in OBS to 'faster'. This will help with whole scene motion like running forward.
  • Because you are downscaling, consider increasing your UI scale to make it easier for your viewers. Red text is especially hard to read.
  • Increase multisampling to smooth out model edges.
Good luck!

Kindly use testmy.net and not speedtest to test your actual sustained connection speed.
(make sure to select a testserver close by in the top of that website)
And show us your results.

This minimap is changed by addon. This is minimap from diablo. I use Widnowed Fullscreen and vs is enabled.
Multisampling = 24-bit color 24 depth 8 x multisample
