Question / Help Want to use OBS for a game.

Hi there all!
I wanted to record a game for me and a friend. Ive downloaded OBS since it got recommanded to me through a friend.
The problem is that im a student and have a laptop i can bring with me to my university.
I tried a lot of stuff i read on forums and comments and i even used the automatic tool to see wich settings they recommand.
My laptop contains:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2601 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
Latest Driver on my GeForce 840M

I know that these arent the greatest computer parts and i sorta gave up on the idea of makin these vids.
You guys are my last hope :) maybe you guys know the wae.

Forgot to mention that my video's are blurry and with lag in it while my game run very clear and smoothly on my monitor. Ive to use the x265 encoding since the NVidea encoding give me the error.
