Question / Help W10 update screwed up something

I updated Windows 10 two days ago and everything was ok, but when I was going to stream OBS started to make my games laggy.

It's nothing about performance, because I've checked everything and all is working as usually, even the fps showed at the screen are all right. But when OBS is opened and taking the game image (no matter if it is recording, streaming or noting) my 144hz monitor, where I play, start to move like 60hz for no reason.

So, for that reason Overwatch looks unplayable for me right now, unless I close OBS. Yesterday I've been here the whole day trying to solve this, but I can't find how. The only two options I have right now are: unistall and install again OBS or get back at the older version of W10.

I don't wanna do these things, so, can someone help me?

144Hz + 60Hz Monitor + Windows 10 = fallback to 60fps on 144Hz screen, as soon as 3d accelerated programs are shown on the 60Hz monitor.
This is "normal" Windows behavior and this is well known even before the newest Win10 Updates.

But I never had such problem until now :S

Strange, as this problem is present for a long time.
Here some more details: https://forums.geforce.com/default/...a-144hz-monitor-if-you-run-windows-10-nvidia/

Run the game in fullscreen mode, don't open programs with GPU hardware acceleration on the second monitor and you should be fine.
And of course disable Windows 10 Game Bar and Game DVR.
I tried it.. it doesn't work...

I don't understand why this started to happen now, it was always working since I have my 144hz monitor and I've been streaming.

Anyway, my problem is just with OBS, everything that I play in the 60hz monitor doesn't affect the 144hz, it just affects when OBS is opened.

Can someone help me? The problem is just with OBS since the W10 update, but the SO and any program, vídeo or whatever works fine. The only problem comes when I open OBS... making my game at the 144hz monitor looks like it is 60hz. What do I do?

I lost already 2 days trying to fix this... I'm gonna cry...

I found what is the problem. Idk why, but it's the preview in OBS which make this happen. If I turn in off stop to being a problem, but ofc I want to see what I'm streaming, especially when I want to edit overlay or anything like that.

Atleast now I can stream again, even If I don't see it, which is kinda annoying to be honest. I tried to edit the preview but no success...
