Question / Help Volume too high!

Hi,

I have a normal stream, with Mic sound and Game sound. I want to decrease the volume of the game, but when i change the OBS volume for speakers (with the OBS main interface modulator) it almost doesn't affect. Having it at 5% is just a little less than 100%. Also, if i put windows volume to 10%, that doesn't affect the game at all.

There's something i should do? my only option now is decrease each Game volume in the game menu.

That doesn't work neither, audio is still being recorded at 100%. It should be something with my soundcard i think.

Have you set your primary audio device to exactly the right one?
some soundcards have a stereomix etc, check this.
Also, in advanced, make sure you do not have a "Desktop multiplier"

Checked and everything is correct. Maybe is just my perception and it happens to everybody, but is still strange cause the difference between min and max is very small.

I actually started having this issue a few versions ago too. Previously I spent a long while balancing my audio mix but now it all went to hell. I have not changed any of my hardware. Plix R1CH why do you break my computer. :p
