Volume drop on embedded scenes?

Howdy. Having a strange issue of volume drops on scenes where the audio is provided from another scene that is included as a source.
OBS 26.9.2 (64 bit)
Mac OS 10.14.6
Running audio through Apollo x4

We're getting a volume drop when I include my main scene as a source in other scenes:
Reference video: 55:06 in this video https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1276009992750661 where we switch to a scene that includes
• When we switch from Man Cam scene to GsmOAT CHAT scene is the problem scene, where I am hearing a volume drop
• Also on the intro, at 2:02, the volume goes from low to high when we switch from scene Opening Banner scene to Main Cam scene
  • Man Cam NO BAN is a duplicate of Main Cam, but with the lower third image source removed.
  • Main Cam NO BAN is the scene that is our primary scene to embed in other scenes, and has the audio.
  • Main Cam NO BAN is included in GsmOAT CHAT as a source (which includes the audio).
  • In all referenced scenes, the Advanced Audio Properties show the same advanced audio settings, which are:
    • Name: Apollo
    • Status: Active
    • Volume: -5db
    • Mono
    • Balance 50%
    • Sync Offset 0ms
    • Audio Monitoring: Off
    • Tracks checked: 1,2,3,4,56
SUMMARY:
When I use a Scene as a Source, and that embedded Scene is the one that generates the audio, there is a volume drop.

HYPOTHESIS:
Could the -5db drop be multiplied? It's in the primary Scene, and then there is another -5db when that primary Scene is included as a source in another scene?

Anyone know what I am missing?

If anyone is curious, the problem was I had both the Apollo as an audio source and the Apollo from the scene inserted as a source. I removed the Apollo as its own source, all good, equal volume all around.
