Question / Help Voice delay?

Hello!

I have this issue that has been bugging me for a long time. When I stream I listen to music and sometimes I sing along, but in the stream my voice comes with a slight delay, for some reason. So the music and voice are not in sync. I don't know if it's actually OBS or something else on my PC.

Help/advice HIGHLY appreciated!

If you have a mic delay set up to sync your voice with your webcam, it will offset.
If your mic recording device has processing delay (somewhat common with many USB mics) it will offset.

You can change the global audio offset to re-align these, but cannot delay the video from window/game/monitor captures, so it will be out of sync with gameplay.

The only real solution is to train yourself not to sing/hum along with music. It sucks, I know.

Aww, that sucks. :( Well thanks for the reply, anyway! :) I haven't noticed anything similar in any other streams I watch, but it does happen on mine. :( I've got a CAD u37 mic I've been using. But the problem was present even when I was using a headset mic.
