vocoder VST with streamelements text to speech

hello,
I'm attempting, as the title suggests, to use a vst plugin (tal vocoder II) applied to the streamelements text-to-speech in order to give it a robot sounding voice. I've succeeded in doing this on a few occasions, but when I close OBS or shut down my PC the vst stops working.
I don't know much about vocoders and how they work, so I'm unsure what I'm doing to get it to work to begin with - I'm confounded by the fact that it's working sometimes, and not other times. if anyone has any info on why this is, or what I'm doing wrong I'd love some help. I'd love to use this effect, but it seems I can't get it to work consistently.
any help would be appreciated from someone who understands this kind of stuff. please let me know <3

Please post a logfile from a streaming or recording session where the issue occurred, and we can take a look. Chances are good that the VST is erroring out for some reason, rather than OBS. We'll know more from reading through the log. :)

I've opted to just route my TTS through voicemod's robot voice setting to fix this. I unfortunately don't have the time to workshop the VST situation as I'm starting my streams tomorrow, and need there to be consistency. Unfortunately with this method I'm no longer able to use Voicemod on my mic, but it's not that important to me to use silly voices on my mic, but extremely important to use it on my TTS. In the name of consistency, I just went this path instead..
I appreciate the help anyhow :)
