VLC vs Media Source

Hi guys,

I want to do streaming 24/7.
Media source is so much smoother to run than vlc player, but cuts off after 3 days.....why?

If I stream with vlc, it's always glitchy and my PC is pretty ok I think? ( Desktop i7-9700 @3Ghz - 16gig ram)
I use Rammap to reset the ram, but no difference when i use vlc...

Is there no way to stream 24/7 using OBS' ''media source''?

Thanks
Choppir

I've even lower the bitrate on my videos now to 2000, but no difference...
Also lowered the quality from HD to 720p, but still glitches...

OBS Studio isn't designed for unattended 24/7 streaming of dead media such as prerecorded mp4 files. It's a tool for creating content with camera or capture and interactively create life shows. If you want 24/7 unattended operation, you have everything already prepared and can use tools you can start and control from command line, for example ffmpeg.exe.

Oh ok...what do you mean by ''command line'' & everything already prepared?

That's actually a Linux command line, 'cause I just happen to have it handy, but Windows has one too. Search for Command Prompt.

& everything already prepared?
Pre-recorded, ready to "just play", not live.

hahaha...I have absolutely no idea what to do with this :D :D
Maybe you are a programmer, but looks like the old 95 Windows we had
