Question / Help Vista Trouble Recording,

Allo

I have just gotten the OBS software so I can record M2TW on Windows Vista, I am not interested in streaming, at the moment.
However, when I try recording, after adding the Monitor Capture source, a dialogue box opens up saying I have a problem with my DirectX 10 on my GPU.
See file screen shot for my details.
Also, it says either my GPU is not supported with DirectX 10, I have not got the 'Platform Update' for my Windows Vista or the GPU drivers are out of date.

However, first, here are my specs.
OS: Windows Vista Business 6.0 32bit
CPU: Intel Core Duo CPU T2350 1.86GHz~1.9GHz
RAM: 2934MB (3GB)
GPU: Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family, Intel GMA 950
DRV: igdumd32.dll
VRAM: 256MB
DX: DirectX 11

First, I knew couldn't be the first one, not supported with DX 10, since I have DX 11.
Secondly, I tried finding any important updates in Windows Update, when it came up with one important update which installed, but I think was an irrelevant update since it still does not record. I then tried this,
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971512
which all did not work, most saying something similar to "This does not apply to you system", one, I recall saying something like "Update already installed". After these attempts, I presumed I already have the update.
Lastly, I tried finding any driver updates. I found this one, http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html, which when I click the file after downloading, it does nothing, does not open anything. Then, I tried this method, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/pr...for-Mobile-Intel-945GM-Express-Chipset-Family, which I added the product GPU, Graphics Driver and my system Windows Vista 32, then downloaded the file which then did intsall, but after installing, it turned the GUI scale up big and asked to restart for it to work. I restarted it, then the GUI went back to normal. I then tried to record on OBS, but still comes up with the same error, obviously the driver update did nothing.

If someone can please help me figure this problems out or point to something I am missing, like another update or driver, or something wrong with my specs.

Thanks in advance,

Your GPU does not support the hardware DX10 spec. It's different from software DirectX11.
Just having DirectX11 installed on your machine does not change the hardware function calls available to your GPU.
