Hi

I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 with Virtualbox installed. On Virtualbox I run Windows7, because I need a system to play MTGO.

Now, I'm trying to streaming. Since I don't wanto to stream the entire VM from Ubuntu (where OBS doesn't give any problem) I've installed OBS on Virtualized Windows 7, but, when I try to push "Streaming Preview" it give the error "Could not get DXGI adapter 0" and than crashs.

Any Help?

Thanks

Topic moved, this is a OBS1 question.

But about your problem, do you have 3D enabled for your VM?

Thank You for moving in appropriate section.

I add a bit of information:
in the "Video" tab of settings the list of adapter is empty, so I cannot selct any.

My pc is an Acer n550-j. (16gb ram, i7 4th gen. HQ, and other stuff)

Hi!

This is the output form that command:
So this could be an issue where your ubuntu isn't passing the nvidia graphics to your VM then windows then OBS. you should have Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M so there is where you need to start your troubleshooting IMO. that technology is often called optimus by nvidia or sometimes referred to as switchable graphics.

At that point you might or might not have to do this: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

again, not sure how switchable graphics works through a vm.
