Virtual Camera audio missing for multimedia and browser sources

I’ve just started using OBS Studio 26.1.2 on MacOS 11.2.2.
Really useful software!
When I set a Media Source (local or remote) and I stream or record it I can hear the audio o media source, but if I start the Virtual Camera, I can hear only the audio of my microphone, not of the media source.

I don’t understand if it is a my config error a bug or it is so by design.

Sorry for asking this again, but OBS Virtual Camera is working great to get video into Zoom and so simple to use. Is there an equally simple way to get audio into Zoom? I've seen YouTube videos about NDi and some plugin called Audio Monitor, but there's multiple steps involved in installing/setting up (unlike Virtual Camera). There's no really simple and great sounding way?

The obvious solution is to include the "output" audio stream in the virtual camera. I don't know if that is actually happening. But the OBS Audio Monitor plugin does let you send audio to Zoom and even add a delay to make it sync with video.

You guys probably already know this, but we solved this audio issue by installing the free Audio Monitor plugin and also the VB audio cables. This allows us to send OBS audio from any scene/source into Zoom, and also to send Zoom's speaker output back to OBS (for instance, if we are live streaming a Zoom meeting to Facebook).
