I'm trying to set up the virtual camera for the first time and I "Start Virtual Camera" but it doesn't show up as a camera in Zoom. Am I doing something wrong? I uninstalled/reinstalled several times, and opened and closed both programs repeatedly.

What Mac version are you using? You might need to enable Camera access inside Settings > Privacy > Camera and toggle the 'Allow apps to access your camera' option. Or remove official signature from Zoom app on Mac from terminal using this command - sudo codesign --remove-signature /Applications/zoom.us.app/
