VinciFlow formerly (Smart Lower Thirds)

VinciFlow formerly (Smart Lower Thirds) 3.3.1

Thank you for the update.

2 notes:

After installing 2.6.7 (manual ZIP install — the Windows EXE gets flagged as a virus on my system, which I’m sure is a false positive, but I prefer the ZIP method), the Smart Lower Thirds control panel shows this message:

“New version available: 2.6.6 (you have 2.6.7)”

It looks like the update checker is still pointing to 2.6.6 as the latest release. Might be worth updating the version metadata or release feed so the plugin recognises 2.6.7 correctly.

--------------

My next suggestion is to change how the Exclusive option works so that exclusivity can be assigned per group, rather than having one global exclusive setting for all lower thirds.

For example, YouTube‑related thirds could belong to Exclusive Group 1 (ideally with custom group names for each group). Stream‑specific thirds could be in Group 2, and people’s photos or IDs could be in Group 3, and so on.

With this approach, only one lower third from each group would appear at a time, but lower thirds from different groups could still be shown simultaneously.

Thank you for the update.

The version label is caused by the cache obs studio saves when calling the api to not over stress the server that should disappear after one hour. The exe is flagged as virus because in most cases the plugin installer is not a registered application. As for moving the exclussive option per group rather than having it globally actually is a very good ideea.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I do development myself, the virus false positives are a real pain in the ass.
I hope the exclusive groups thing made sense. Thanks again.

yep i think i understood, for example you want to have a gorup for social media and one for sponsors but you want the exclusive feature to work / group so when you show a sponsor you don't want to hide the social media but the other sponsors and vice versa

Hello, and thank you for the excellent plug-in. I have a question about retrieving data from Google Sheets (via API or other methods) to extract data from Google Sheets for dynamic real-time updates of names, scores, or statistics. Is it possible to use this in the current plug-in version, or is there a plan to implement it in the future? Thank you.

Right now it can't be done but i'm thinking of implementing a templating system that allows you do do external updates however that may take a while because i have to figure out the perfect way to do it.

MMLTech updated VinciFlow formerly (Smart Lower Thirds) with a new update entry:

VinciFlow - Runtime Parameters & API Template Update

Each lower third can now define an API Template in the Layout settings.

- A JSON object describing runtime fields (e.g.
Code:
score
,
Code:
player
,
Code:
team
, etc.).
- Stored in the project configuration and exported/imported with templates.
- Validated in real time in the UI (syntax and object shape).
- Acts as a schema and default seed for generated parameter files.

Hi, Is your plugin no longer free? It seems that it's downloading and finishes, but quickly goes to "what do you want to pay?" I see nothing in my downloads folder to. Just asking. Thanks.

work- Thank you.

Now if you have a middleware between the google sheets and VinciFlow you can update values dinamically
