Question / Help Viewer lag

Hi here,

OBS doesn't report any frame drop or any problems, but sometimes some viewers complain about lag others say it's ok, i think it's related to viewer's internet connection.

How can i solve this problem and stream with a decent quality ?, actually i stream 720p@30fps bitrate : 2000

If i down my Bitrate, my viewers can easyer watch without lag ?

Config :

I5 - 3450
nvidia 550 Ti
16Gb ram
Win 7 HP 64

DL : 43mbps
UP : 3.8mbps

Lowering your bitrate will help viewers who complain of lag, yes. It'll also lower your picture quality, though. Unfortunately not everyone has great internet, so it's up to you if you want better picture quality or to make lower-speed viewers happier.

Edit - I should add, if your CPU isn't being pushed too hard, you can lower your bitrate and switch to a slower preset like Fast, and that should help keep the picture quality higher. Would not recommend if your CPU usage is very high while streaming your chosen game(s) though.
