Question / Help Viewer lag, tried a lot.

Hey guys,

I have no idea why my stream is lagging on Twitch. I have no Dropped Frames in OBS and even tried to lower my bitrate + resolution. My uploadspeed is 20MB/s so that should not be a problem I suppose? If there's anyone that can help me out that would be highly appreciated. I'm quite new to OBS but checked a lot of video's with the "best settings" etc but I still get the lag at twitch.

If you require more info please let me know and thanks in advance!

Unless you're a Twitch Partner, do not exceed 2000kbps bitrate. No one will be able to watch, and will be stuck in buffering hell at the rate you're using.

Thanks for the reply, however I have tried using 2k bitrate and it gave no good result. I'll upload some screens of my settings etc.

I changed my server to Paris and it seems to work better, despite me living in the netherlands. I'll be back of the stream will lag again hehe, thanks for replying though Ferret.

Disabling the custom buffer, yes. Setting a zero buffer will do VERY Bad Things when it comes to livestreaming.
Recording yes, streaming no.
