Question / Help Videos do not rescale based on the "rescaled output" value

I would like some clarity on the information specified at https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...n-scaled-resolution-and-rescale-output.31028/

If I'm not mistaken, regardless of the output resolution, the recorded videos should rescale as per the "rescaled output" value

If that is indeed the normal behavior, I just wanted to let the concerned people know that it's not working like that

Please let me explain this with the illustration as you can see below..

I set the "Output resolution" to 1366x768 as follows

The "Rescaled Output" option was enabled and was set to 780x438 as follows

Ideally, the final result should've rescaled to 780x438p as per the set values but it still came out at 1336x768p

You have the encoder set to use the stream encoder, so ofcourse the rescale output from the recording section won't apply.
