Question / Help Video Type Problems

So I tried to record something and both the video types 48kHz and 44.1kHz would not let me see the video or hear the audio. I also tried changing the codec settings of ACC and MP3 for both to see if any of those would work but again, it just comes up with the same message of 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file'

I am really stumped on what to do here as I tried the available Video types and Codec types.

Also the videos I make cannot be played on other player types or on Premier Pro
