Question / Help Video too Bright; Using Elgato Cam Link 4K

I'm using the Elgato Cam Link 4K (not recording/streaming in 4K, just 1080p) with a Canon Rebel SL2 which is added to OBS. The video (either recording or streaming) ends up too bright, where the person's face looks washed out. Like there's just too much white in the picture. Would could be causing the issue? It's not too bright if I record a video onto the SD card of the camera itself.
