Question / Help Video sources don't hide in mixer after selecting to hide them

I'm about a month new to OBS and I've encountered a problem that happens some of the time, but not all of the time and I am trying to figure out why.

When I select a video source previously loaded, and the source plays, I want to be able to play that source again, without going into the properties and clicking OK to get it to reappear.

Sometimes, it does this correctly - I will hide the source and the source will disappear from the mixer.

As you can see by the screenshot I took - often the source does not disappear from the mixer. When this occurs, every time I attempt to play the source again, the source does not reappear ... that is until I double click it and click OK. This error causes a build-up of sources in the audio mixer which can lead to slow-downs and just overall clunkyness.

Does anyone know of this issue or have a remedy for it? Would be most appreciated - otherwise, OBS Studio is above and beyond better than anything else I've ever used. So thanks for that!!!

I did ^ the log is attached above. I believe the error concerns this line:
[Media Source 'Instant Replay SFL']: invalid audio_buffer_size 1

I also attached a link to a photo showcasing the error with this specific file, although it does it with all

Who knows... But you can change this.

I think, you must use simple and short videos with 'Media Source'. When possible fill the Input Format field, then it works faster and more stable (no errors when header and extension of the media are different). Try to re-encode your videos to the same format. Also you may try to use ' VLC Video Source'.

Both types of the media inputs described in OBS Studio Help Guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...ware-studio-multiplatform-help-guide-pdf.365/ (source properties section).
