Question / Help Video Source plugin

Can i use a video source plugin for obs-studio? And how?

Click add source and then MEDIA SOURCE and add your video or media.

I am not want to stream a video(file). I want to stream my usb device. I know from the obs classic it works with the video source plugin. But not in the OObs-studio.

The source has the EXACT same name as in obs studio......

In obs studio i can't see the video plugin source. I has insert the plugin in the program files(x86)/obs-studio/plugin folder but it is not displayed if I want to add the source in obs-studio... I don't know why.

You didn't use the video source plugin in OBS classic to stream a usb capture device. You used the video capture device source.

But, i use it with the Screen stream mirroring app. With this app you can stream the display of your device to obs with the Video source plugin. But actually my only answer is, can I use the Video source plugin in obs-studio and if yes how? Sorry for the inconveniences.

Classic plugins incompatible to Studio.

When you add device via the 'Video Capture Device' source and see nothing, then Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

With OBS Studio that's very easy, you don't need the source plugin anymore.
It works either with 'media source' or 'VLC video source', then for 'media source' uncheck local file and simply enter the URL given by Screen Stream Mirroring app.
