Video settings change on their own

When I change the video settings in OBS and save.
When the video settings were opened again, they changed by themselves.
Why is that and how can I prevent that?

I'm experiencing the same issue. Even if I run the program as Admin, my video config settings (under Video Proc Amp) will change back to default when I exit OBS and unplug the webcam. The next time I plug the camera back in and start OBS, all config settings are back to default.
I am not running OBS as a portable program.
Any ideas?

In addition, if I leave the camera connected to the PC, the settings will revert back to default the next time I boot up the computer. Is there a registry setting that can be changed so that OBS always defaults to the setting in the registry?
