Question / Help Video Resolution Question

So, I can't record at full resolution because if I do, the recorded footage has a very low FPS. But what really annoys me is that the lower resolution video is really small in a youtube window. So I was wondering, is there any way I could set OBS to convert the video to a higher resolution once it's done recording, and if not, could someone direct me to a program or something that can convert it?
Thanks :)

What do you mean by "small" in YouTube? Even if it's low resolution it should still be filling the whole screen. Can you show an example?

Are you making sure that your source is taking up the full area in the OBS preview window?

I downloaded that video from youtube and yep not really a resolution problem. You just have black bars around your game. You would have to stretch the image a bit in OBS or reduce the resolution so it matches the resolution of your game capture.

Click edit scene. Then click the image of your game in OBS and you should get a red border for resizing your game.

Unfortunately that's not going to work. I made the image as large as I could without making it go outside the OBS viewing window thing, and it makes it a bit bigger on the youtube window, but not by much. :/ I suppose I could do what you suggested before and also record at a lower resolution, but keep in mind I already sacrificed full resolution for framerate, I don't want to go even lower :(

What method are you using to capture the game? Something must be wrong with your setup, because it should not be doing that.

Set the obs base resolution (settings>video) to the same as your game resolution then edit (game capture>proprieties) to stretch the image to screen.
