I clicked stop recording after recording a 40-minute video. The result is that the saved video file is only a few megabytes and the duration is only a few seconds. I have encountered this bug twice in three months, and the recorded video is very important. , but only a small part of it was saved!
 
Please post a link to a log file. You can upload a log file from inside the Help menu.
Restart OBS, do a test record of no less than 30 seconds doing all you normally do. Now upload the log file and copy the link in here. Also click on the Analize button to start troublesooting common issues.
 
Looks normal. The only thing I can think may be happening is that you by chance clicked on the pause button, or the key you may have assigned to this action in hotkeys.
The pause button shows itself on the right side of the start recording button once you started recording. In settings - hotkeys you can assing keys to do this. You can use the same key to star / stop and another por pause / unpause. Same with streaming.

To avoid issues with this it's recommended to use combination of keys, like ctrl+f10 or ctrl+alt+< and so on.
