Question / Help Video Quality : /

Hey I was just hoping that I could maybe get some assistance with my streams video quality! I've basically looked anywhere and everywhere, I have either not come across others with the same problem or I have found guides that explain approaches for situations similar to mine, however I haven't seemed to have found a solution that has worked yet.

In terms of settings I have my Max Bitrate (kb/s): 2500, the base resolution of my monitor is 1920x1080 and I have it downscaled to 1280x720 with my FPS at 30.

I'm just wondering if this is on Twitch's end or my own really. I'm also having a problem where my stream randomly buffers frequently on my end, I haven't heard complaints about it from my viewers or friends yet so I'm not sure if it's just on my end or not. After following a guide and changing up my Bitrate and what not I was able to calm it down a bit.

PC Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB

buffering is a problem we are all fighting with for around 9months now how to fix buffering or the best way to get kind of rid of it.... lowering the bitrate until it stops. Is this a real solution? no it is not thats whats so annoying about it.

well qualitywise im watching your stream right now and its okay for a 720p30 2k bitrate wow stream tbh
dont expect too much there will always be some sort of quality loss usually 1800-2500 is enough for 720p to look pretty okay.

since you didnt provide a log i will assume that you are running default preset (veryfast)
but you are using a 4770k and you also downscaled and wow is not really cpu intensive so i would suggest you trying out the fast preset (medium might be too slow)

Thank you for the speedy reply! I'm sorry I'm not too experienced with "go to" lingo on these forums yet, but where do I find the fast preset you are talking about?

Also I didn't know about the whole log thing so I looked it up and uploaded my logs accordingly, here they are:

the presets can be found on settings and then advanced

if you want to you can use any capture method you want since win8 is awesome when it comes to streaming.
meaning if you are lazy just use one monitor capture scene and capture everygame in borderless window

Alright so I went ahead with your suggestion, now I seem to have an issue where nothing is being uploaded? The upload is stuck at 0kb/s with a grey box https://gist.github.com/e02746396263de987888 I didn't change anything else besides what you suggested and I was messing with my own mic. settings when this happened. Scratch that log file, I just looked at it and didn't realize that's an old one from yesterday. I can't seem to see the most recent logs though
