Bug Report Video Playlist Blink

I'm in the process of moving my stream over to the OBS Studio program and was pretty excited to make the switch.

In moving my scenes over I found a problem that is kind of killing the hype for me. The use of animations for title screens/ templates is important to me in my stream and part of that relies on the the video playlist feature. In OBS the feature works perfectly, seamlessly playing videos/animations one after the other, in OBS studio however the videos do not flow seamlessly in video playlists. There is a blink or a moment of a blank screen between videos which causes a terrible looking break in my animations. I'm hoping this can be fixed very soon for it is causing me some pain.

For your first issue, are you using Media Source or VLC Source?

For your second issue, I believe there is an option to "Restart playback when source becomes active".

I am using a VLC source, and I have actually found that by checking the "Loop Playlist" option the blink disappears. For me this is enough of a fix but still for some I can see that not being enough of a fix for they might not want the playlist to loop.

The second issue I now removed, I found that the reason this "bug" was happening was because in editing my scenes I was switching back and for too quickly and it caused these freezes in the video. When directing away from a scene and giving it a few seconds before switching back the video plays back from the start just fine without showing a paused video before it.
