Bug Report video player problem on OBS

Hey staff

eevrytime i try to play a pc steam game now while using OBS, it crashes when i have a video file added on my OBS

so is there anyway you guys could create a hotfix to fix that problem please

there is no crashlog, OBS does not crash when i use video files on OBS, the game itself crashes when i use the video player side of OBS

That's not OBS then, that's a case of a hook conflict or something.
Conflicts with OBS Studio: Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.

hey

when i do not create the media source on OBS, my games work 100% perfect, but when i create the media source thats when my games break

Media source cannot crash your game. That makes no sense. Media source is internal to OBS, and doesn't interact with anything external.

If your video card is having issues and it is crashing trying to load a video file, that is something you will unfortunately need to look into on your own, as we won't have any visibility into it. However, if you can provide the system crash logs, we might be able to assist further.
