So I've used OBS for a year and a half or so and have never had a problem on it while using it on windows 8 and 8.1
Recently I upgraded my windows to 10 and ever since the videos have been stuttering an insane amount. I do not know what the cause is and I've been trying to figure it out for awhile and I just cant get it to work like it use to. I record league of legends game play daily and this is what it's for. My computer is not the problem (hardware wise) as my pc has very high end specs and has never lagged on the videos beforehand. Just so it's clear. While playing league of legends and recording my fps doesn't drop in the slightest. I'm able to reach 300fps while recording if I wish it but I cap it at 144. It is only the recordings when I play them back. Has no one else had this problem with windows 10? Also I have tried recording on a very low quality just to see if it had to do with performance and it was still lagging. So I just really don't know what to do.

Are you using the default video player for windows? If so try opening it in windows media player and see if the stuttering continues. This was a problem I encountered with DXTory videos and it could be a a similar issue here.

windows media player and the films & tv app in windows 10 both have HORRID media format support.

Try using VLC for playback.

And post your obs log.
