Question / Help Video loopback

I've been searching, probably overlooking but searching, for a way to have a video loopback for other applications.
So I can create a scenes and use that for skype or other chat software etc.
Is there already a way to do this? Plugin? Application?
In xsplit it was native not sure how to configure obs for this any help would be great :P

If anyone else has been working on this or has an alternative to this please let me know.
Currently i'm looking into how to create a plugin to use vcam with OBS, or something... In over my head as I haven't programmed since high school >.>
