I have a problem with streaming. While i livestream the video lags or rather i say the image looks like its stopped for 2 or 3 seconds and then it plays normaly this occurs very often so the stream is unwatchable a was experimenting with different options and bitrates and still no success i hope you can solve me problem.

I will be posting my stream settings as well as my internet conection and my PC specification.

Thx for the help and for your positive response.

Q10, 1080p at 60 FPS? Any particular reason you're streaming that resolution at that quality in those framerates? Try dropping it down to Q-7, 1080p at 30 FPS instead. At 3000 Kbps.

Are you streaming to Twitch? If so, try and make sure you're connected to a Twitch server near you. There simply may be some congestion taking place and streaming to a Twitch server near you may help to deal with that.

hi thx for the response.
I have already used JTVping to choose the closest server possible with the best (low) MS speeds.
One thing i would like to ask if anything esle is wrong in my setting? and if i can obtain the best quality because i dont have any problems with upload speed because i have fiber optic.

Try my suggestion or don't try it, makes no difference to me but it would help to determine what is causing the problem. Just try it for a couple of minutes and see if the stream improves. If it does, then we know what the cause of the issue is. If it does not improve, we look at something else to rule out as a possible cause. It's the process of elimination and your quality settings and framerate have a very big target painted on them as a possible cause.

You are streaming in a very high quality at a very high resolution at framerates and bitrates that may not actually be required to accomplish the same kind of quality on-stream. What game are you streaming at those settings?

Ok iam gonna try your settings and gonna post a log file about it gonna let the stream running for about 3 mintues to make a nice log file

Just to show you what I mean with Q-10 1080p@60 FPS being an issue, here is a small comparative study I did just now:

Q-0, 3000 Kbps, 1600 x 900 @ 30 FPS
Q-7, 3000 Kbps, 1600 x 900 @ 30 FPS
Q-10, 6000 Kbps, 1600 x 900 @ 60 FPS WARNING: Very high bitrate, may not load properly.

The scene you are watching is a 2006 64Kb demo by Conspiracy called 'Chaos Theory'.

For the record, I have to note that I'm on a 150Mbit symmetrical line, so several times faster than yours and even that was not enough to stream the Q-10 @ 60 FPS one without dropping a few frames (89 frames to be exact).

Seems lag free, other than a mild caching issue on Twitch's end (it's been misbehaving for me all day long and just Twitch, so, nothing on my end). But, something else -- the gamma on that vid is off. Way off. It's almost like an over-exposed picture.

Hi and thanks for the answer i think its going to be stable from your opinion.
And about that gamma i increased from 1.00 to 1.35 becuase the game was too dark and it didnt show good colors and i have problems with my eyes i wear glasses and i sometimes have problem seeing dark things so i increase gamma in some games could it be problem?

Well, to someone without glasses, with good eyesight such as myself... it does look over-saturated. Could you maybe tone the gamma down just a bit? Would 1.10 work for you? Because it really is kind of ... hard to enjoy right now, your gamma settings I mean. It's not exactly the most comfortable thing to watch for long periods of time.
