Question / Help Video lag

Hi, I recently downloaded OBS to try out the video capturing tool, but I've noticed that I have a problem. Even though I don't drop any frames and I'm rolling on a steady 60 fps, the recording seems to lag and I do not know how to solve this problem.

Any help given is appreciated

Sincerely

What do you mean by "lag" in the recording? The OBS log shows your performance is fine, though you have some weird settings.

It looks like you incorrectly followed some instructions for setting a custom CRF, so just remove your custom x264 settings. Also, bump your quality balance up to 8...no reason to have it as low as you do. Also, 1000kbps is probably a too low for 720p60, especially for local recording.

But none of those things really have anything to do with performance (if anything, the low-quality CRF should give you higher performance...)

Thanks for the help! I'll try it out a bit later!

(What I ment with "lag" was that even though my game flows smoothly while playing and recording, the recording seems to "spike" a bit or something like that, I can't really find the right word for it)
